The Forum 8, A life changing avalanche, Being asked to autograph babies, filming 21 video parts in a row, boy band fame in snowboarding, high stakes dice games, shirtless mctwists, learning how to do a backflip on his bike at 44 and so much more. Jeremy Jones has had one of the most prolific careers as a pro snowboarder ever. There is really only a handful of snowboarders in the world that have accomplished what he has in the realm of video part driven snowboarding. After a life changing injury he had to pick him self up and basically re learn what for him used to be basic tricks. His drive and determination is something that we find amazing at the Bomb Hole. Dirt bikes, X-Games medals, Red Bull Imagination, parallels between moto and snowboarding, riding a dirt bike in down town L.A., injuries, rehab, blasting on quarter pipes and more! Tyler Bereman is a third generation dirt biker who went from chasing down first place in motocross races to building his own custom courses and becoming a freerider in the dirt bike world. He is known for his whips that basically look like he has the ability to bend a dirt bike in the air and this move has won him gold medals in best whip contests and x-games as well as prominent video parts. His most recent exploit Red Bull Imagination just dropped last month where he built the super park of the dirt bike world and sessioned it with a hand picked crew of the worlds best talent showcasing the top level of in this genre. With three unique Red Bull projects under his belt in one year there is no telling what he will do next but its obvious the sky is the limit, literally. Tyler is the most chill down to earth guy you will meet and when asked by Grenier how he approaches these huge air’s he simply says “Don’t think, just go!!”. X Game’s Gold at 16 years old, Steroids and snowboarding, mental health, The first woman to do a cab double 1080, Getting barked at by Lucas Magoon, The Korea Olympics, drug testing and snowboarding, the perks of riding for Red Bull, snowmobile catching on fire, the current state of woman’s snowboarding and more! Hailey Langland learned how to ride with a crew of boy’s at a very young age. They got her riding fast and learning to really push herself so she could keep up with them. The formula seemed to work because at 16 years old she won the coveted X-Games Gold Medal and then went on to be in the Olympics. The sky is the limit for Young Hail’s and we will have a close eye on her in the coming years as she dominates the contest series and then move’s on to locking down video part’s. She has the best personality and is one of the most down to earth nicest people you will meet. Chad is Deaf, a filmer, a photographer, a talented snowboarder, gay and teaches us some great swear words in ASL (American Sign Language). He might be one of the most interesting personality’s in snowboarding, with his infectious smile, great sense of humor and eye for photo and video he is a person you just want to get to know. At a young age he was exposed to snowboarding and like many of us this sparked something in him and he knew he needed to pursue it. He left his comfort zone of an all deaf family and moved west into what was for him uncharted territory. He knew at a young age he was different but already had to be concerned about being accepted in the snowboard world being deaf but would people accept him if he was also gay? Life after being a Pro Snowboarder, filming with Mack Dawg, X-Games Real Snow, what went down on the day Jeremy Jones broke both legs in an avalanche, filming, riding BMX trails, fatherhood and working as Volcom Snow’s global team and marketing manager. Seth Huot is what we call a lifer in snowboarding. After having a long career as a pro snowboarder filming with Mack Dawg production’s he transitioned into a spot on the other side of the lens and took a heavy position with Volcom Snow. We talk with Seth about the transition from being a pro into what life look’s like after pro and what he did to keep his stoke levels high and feed the beast inside that still crave’s the adrenaline and dopamine rush that comes along with the lifestyle. For most pro’s this is a hard time in their life and if they don’t figure it out it will lead to some serious depression. Seth also takes us on a play by play of the day Jeremy Jones broke both his legs in an avalanche.
