Jed discusses his journey as a childhood contest kid to street snowboarder that dominated the scene. He inspired an entire generation through not only his snowboarding, but also his style, art and skateboarding. He has had some ups and downs from iconic video parts, mind blowing tricks to losing all his sponsors and battling mental health issues. Jed ultimately retired and drifted away from the sport only to come back and claim his crown. Stefi talks competitive snowboarding, health, fitness, the Olympics, catching a case, naming cars, her brother being born on a plane, grandfather being born on a boat, growing up in New Zealand, winning the green card lottery and much more. Stefi Luxton fell in love with snowboarding at a young age and realized the only way to pursue her dream would be though competitive snowboarding. She worked hard to get a spot on the New Zealand snowboard team and even made it to the Olympics. She made her way to Mammoth California and was traveling around snowboarding and competing in contests. She fell in love with Mammoth and the lifestyle that surrounds snowboarding, the only problem was she was just not really a competitive person. Through some luck she won the Green Card Lottery which meant for her she did not have to keep up with being on the New Zealand team and get a sports visa to stay in Mammoth and live the life she loved. Max talks about growing up on a farm, Chompy the turtle, respect gets respect, peacocking, the Brain Bowl Sessions, riding in a helmet, QP Camp Out, having strong snowboard fundamentals and much more. Max Warbington is part of an elite squad of snowboarders that hails from Oregon and grew up riding Mount Bachelor. All of these riders seem to have one thing in common and that is strong board fundamentals. Max has been in all sorts of projects from Think Thank movies and his own Shorts and Shades and is also a member of Lick The Cat. The word is he even beat Danny Davis in a halfpipe contest. Spencer Whiting AKA Gimbal God talks about following the riders off of huge jumps, being a human drone, an 11 day stay at the mental hospital, dealing with bipolar disorder, making his film shots look like a video game, paving your own lane, being more open about mental health and so much more. Spenny started out like most guest on this show, he was just a young kid who wanted to become a pro snowboarder. After spending time taking turns filming each other he started to realize that some of his friends were much better at riding then him and he might be smarter to continue filming. He was really good at doing follow cams and maybe this was something he could pursue. He started hitting the jumps with the riders showing viewers a fully new perspective. This new technique earned him the nick name Gimbal God. He decided he was going to make a go at filming but after an incident at the Denver Airport he found himself stuck at the mental hospital on what turned out to be an 11 day hold. He had just learned he was Bipolar and this would be a whole new challenge for him to conquer. Against the Odds Gimbal got a handle on this situation and dove head first into being the best filmer he could be. He started releasing edits that were unlike everything people have seen and the rest is history. Scotty James talks going to the olympic’s at a young age, being called the next Shaun White, how 22 foot half pipes are scary as hell, learning to be your self and not caring what other’s think, the competitive mind set, life in Australia, the modified half pipe, training to be a champion and much more. Scotty Jame’s hails from Australia a country that has no snowboarding halfpipe’s but some how became who many call the Next Shaun White. After showing some talent snowboarding and a love for half pipe riding his parents let him jump on plane at 13 years old and go to USA supervised by other snowboarder’s on a 6 month trip where he won the Junior Jam at the US Open. This was the moment Scotty decided to pursue a career in Snowboarding and the rest is history. Lucas talk’s winning $100,000+ in contests, a traumatic head injury and coma, having a near death experience, he teaches us how to play Cee-lo, talks Sasquatch sighting’s, the Rutland Strong arm, quitting alcohol, fatherhood, Goon Gear and so much more! Lucas Magoon is one of Snowboarding’s National Treasures who influenced an entire generation with his style, gear and attitude. At the top of his career he suffered a near death head injury being pulled by a car while skateboarding. The doctors induced a coma that lasted two and a half weeks giving him a 50-50 chance of survival and said he would most likely never snowboard again. It was a long recovery that had many up’s and down’s but there is no holding someone like Lucas back and he was on a board and filming well before anyone thought possible. He is now 5 years off of Alcohol running his brand Goon Gear with his wife Tonya raising their daughter Winter in the east coast. Dusty talk’s pulling the first quad cork in a competition, winning two X-Games medal’s in 2021, Biggie Smalls Hypnotize on repeat, X-Games Real Snow, is big air progressing too far, going hollow head, body mechanic’s while snowboarding, trampolines, air awareness and much more! Dusty Henricksen entered the 2021 X-Games as a hopeful just like any other rider that day but walked away a champion with two Gold medal’s at the age of 17. He is now 18 years old backed by brands like Monster, Oakley and his newest sponsor Salomon, also a member of the US Team and a future Olympic hopeful. The Dingo talks about the rise and fall of Grenade Gloves, dealing with depression, attempted suicide, sprayingchampagne on people with Lil Jon, working for Monster Energy, helping kid’s with his Find Your Grind project and so much more. Luke “The Dingo” Trembath came from Australia to America to pursue snowboarding at the age of 16. His friendship with Danny Kass and relationship with the Grenade crew cemented his spot in the snowboard community. After being handed a microphone at an event it was clear he had an amazing talent for announcing and he soon became the top announcer at snowboard events. This path lead him to becoming a major personality in snowboarding and it wasn’t long until brands he was working with like Oakley and Monster realized he could host events out of snowboarding as well and then we would see him showing up in places like Fuel TV’s The Danny And Dingo Show, Sirius Radio’s The Jason Ellis Show and even The MTV Awards.
