Ep 155: An Interview - Subconscious Values, Habits, Self-talk, and Choice

Start Your Transformation NowNic was a recent student of mine and we visit about his transformational path and how much he has changed in the last six months and how you can too. This episode is near impossible to title as we talked about so much. The primary things we talked about are: subconscious values, self-talk, subconscious habits and choice. And, a whole lot more but this gives you an idea of the treasures in this episode. As you’ll hear, Nic thought he had life “dialed in” and thought he had it all together until we worked together and he quickly discovered that he was working at a small percentage of his ability. An amazing story he shared and this applies to many, many people is that even though he had his life “all together” he was struggling with why he could never get to the next level in life. He reveals his huge “ah-ha” moments with me and I’m certain this will apply to many people. As stated in the headline, we dive deep into his realization of how his subconscious values were driving him, and yet he did not know it. Ep 154: Intrinsic Raditude Is The Attitude

Start Your Transformation NowAs you read the headline you probably thought, “What…what the heck is intrinsic ratitude?” Right?Totally understandable and “ratitude” is my word for ‘radical gratitude’ and intrinsic is what’s deep inside of you and inherent to your BEing.When I say intrinsic to your being, I mean things like your ability to see, smell, taste, feel, and even your ability for your heart to beat and for you to breathe.Oprah has said, “Gratitude is the attitude” and many of us have heard that before but how many of us truly live that? How many of us embody it? How many of us understand that to the core of our being? When we do, it changes everything in us and around us, and when we live it in our daily lives they radically transform.In this episode, I talk about my journey to finding “intrinsic ratitude” in my life. And, I assure you, it has been a journey and all of us can do it if we commit just 5 minutes per day to having intrinsic ratitude.The great thing about ratitude is that it’s literally an avenue to all that you want in life. It’s free and yet most of us overlook it in our lives or we’re tepidly and mildly grateful but we’re not really embodying it.Let me ask you, do you take time during your days being immensely grateful for all that you have? I mean genuinely grateful, not perfunctory gratitude. I mean instead of just saying you’re grateful because you’re “supposed to” can you feel it in your bones, do you embody it. Do you savor your gratitude?You’re not fully aware and alive until you can reach this place in yourself and all else is just being externally influenced. All else is not being fully present in life and not being fully immersed in life.When we start immersing in life we start infusing with life. Ep 153: FATA - Fear, Anxiety, Tension, And Anger - Part 2

Start Your Transformation NowIn this episode, I continue what I started in the last one and I quickly address FATA, some causes, and how to live a better life without them.For the most part, most people are living their daily lives full of any or all of these to some degree and they can be deadly to our health.Medical research has shown that around 90% of all illness is stress-related and stress comes from a variation of these four things.In this episode, I briefly address each one and the potential causes.What causes fear?I talk about two categories of fear, physical and psychological, and what causes them and what drives them.Surprise, to a large degree they are driven by the issue to control something, someone, or some outcome in life.What causes Anxiety?I address two categories of anxiety, brain-based and psychological and my bout with brain-based anxiety, depression, and anxiety generally speaking.Surprise, to a large degree, general anxiety is called by control issues. Specifically, trying to control an outcome.What causes tension?Basically, tension is wrapped around unresolved issues. It’s intertwined with something where we don’t know the outcome or what’s going to happen and that causes tension within us.Surprise, to a large degree tension is driven by control issues.What causes anger?Anger is caused by something outside of your control or when we think we’re not getting something that we deserve or we’ve been wronged.I take a twist on anger and share that there is no such thing as anger, it’s simply what you’re feeling when we experience fear, hurt, and frustration the latter two come from expectation.And guess what, I talk about what drives anger. This episode doesn’t tackle it, but I definitely want to talk about it and get you to thinking about how you experience the concepts.How much thought have you really put into your own life and death? And, as I ask that question, if you’re like most people you have very simplistic definitions of those very words. You probably see them as black and white, meaning dead is one thing and living is another but there is no in-depth thought and deep understanding of what they both really mean?I mean, what are your definitions of both life and death. How do you define life, how do you define death?What does it mean to “live” your life? Are you truly living or are you just simply existing, going through your days? Are you just marking time until you die?What if I said to you that there is no such thing as death? That even sounds weird when you read it, right? I mean, what if there is no such thing as death then how does that even affect how you live your life?What if I said, there is no death, there is only life? And, should you be able to fully integrate that at a deep level of knowing, how would you live your life differently?Many in the West look at “death” as something to fear or better yet, something that is not even thought about until later in life.
