Ep 184: Living Outside All The Fear And Chaos In The World.

Start Your Transformation NowThis episode was inspired by a current student of mine. Essentially, he wrote me a note and was sharing how he’s feeling hopeless about the state of the world, the future of humanity, and the planet.I can definitely understand his fears, however, from my perspective, I’m not hopeless at all. Actually, I’m quite optimistic about the future. There are a couple of places mentally that I “work from” in life and for this reason, the state of the world is not creating fear or reaction in me.With so much chaos in the world, millions if not more are in fear about what the future holds. I am not one of those people. In this episode, I share the paradigm that I have worked from for years. It applies both to the state of the world and as well the relationships in my life and even to passersby in life.I choose how I want to participate in the world, to some degree physically and to a huge degree, mentally.Perhaps when you ponder what I share in this episode then you too may find more peace and comfort in your life.Transformational Takeaway: In all areas of life ask yourself, “What pertains to me?”Let's Connect: Instagram Facebook YouTube LinkedIn LIKED THE EPISODE?If you're the kind of person who likes to help others, then share this with your friends and family. Ep 183: Interview - Katie’s Transformation From Being “Terrified Everyday” Into Being A Revolutionary Thinker.

Start Your Transformation NowIn this episode, I visit with one of my students, Dr. Katie Deming, MD, Oncologist. The predominant theme in this round of interviews has been transcending fear. Actually, I think that’s great and a perfect message for all listeners because it’s the number one thing that just about every human wrestles with yet most people never transcend. As you’ll hear, until recently Katie has lived most of her life being “terrified every day.” These are her exact words and her biggest triggers were fear of failure, fear of not being safe, fear of not doing things right, and fear of failure.” Again, in her own words, she said she had created a “habit of living in fear.” And, I’m sure when many people listen they can relate, and neurologically, we can turn daily fear into a lifetime habit. The theme is this interview is the tremendous amount of fear that controlled her life and we talk about how she came to a resolution of this life habit of fear.We also talk about, her words, how the “medical industry keeps people trapped in victim mentality.” In my opinion, this is a courageous statement. It takes great courage to go against an entire industry to take a stand for human growth and evolution. That, my friends, is revolutionary and how great change happens in the world. I’m awed that she went from a place of living her life in extreme fear to bucking an entire system. This interview is insightful, heartfelt, and inspiring and it’s my sincere desire that you find great value in this interview. EnjoyMentioned Resources:Dying To Be Me: My Journey from Cancer, to Near Death, to True Healing by Anita MoorjaniBruce Lipton’s BooksDisclosure: Some of the links above are affiliate links, meaning, at no additional cost to you, I will earn a small commission if you make a purchase.Let's Connect: Instagram Facebook YouTube LinkedIn LIKED THE EPISODE?If you're the kind of person who likes to help others, then share this with your friends and family. Ep 182: Interview - From Feeling Not Good Enough To Center Stage!

Start Your Transformation NowThis week’s interview is colorful for sure. My guest is comedian Annie Lederman. Being upfront, she does not particularly censor herself so there may be an F-Bomb or two or three. And, that’s fine with me as I want people to be exactly who they are and want to be.As in all interviews we talked about a lot of things and in particular, we talked about four main topics. How Annie was said she was “Afraid to put myself out” in terms of self-promotion. How despite being a comedian/entertainer she was nervous and afraid of what people would think of her. She talks about how she’d obsess about what audience members might be thinking about her and her show. How she felt “not good enough.” And finally, how she used to be so driven by “external validation and what others thought about her and her show. As you’ll hear she experienced an assortment of self-sabotaging feelings and today she enjoys being on large shows, promoting herself, and sharing her art with the world. And, then of course all the accompanying feelings and behaviors with being extremely passionate about her work, sharing it with everyone, and how she now approaches her work…which was transformational for her. There’s something here for everyone as she covers many facets of thinking that all of us wrestle with at some time or another in life.ENJOYLet's Connect: Instagram Facebook YouTube LinkedIn LIKED THE EPISODE?If you're the kind of person who likes to help others, then share this with your friends and family. Ep 181: Interview - From Crippling Fears And Perfectionism To An Amazing Life.

Start Your Transformation NowIn my opinion, this is an amazing episode. I think many listens will be able to relate and identify with Manuel. He’s one of my students from Austria and he talks about his extreme fears and how today his life is so “amazing he could cry.”We talk about a lot in this episode but the focus was extreme lack of self-worth, inability to even talk with people, disabling procrastination, and crippling perfectionism. In the last sentence I use many words that could be construed as hyperbole, but as you’ll hear, they are not, these were all the circumstances of his life….in his own words. We go further to talk about where he “works from today,” how he has come to understand his self-talk and stories and how his life has made a 180-degree transformation from doom and gloom to as I said above, a life that is “so amazing he could cry.”EnjoyLet's Connect: Instagram Facebook YouTube LinkedIn LIKED THE EPISODE?If you're the kind of person who likes to help others, then share this with your friends and family. Ep 180: Interview - How To Drop Perfectionism And Control

Start Your Transformation NowIt’s that time again. I’m doing a few interviews with current students and they’re sharing dramatic shifts they have made in their lives and they give you tips so you can start doing the same in your life. This week I’m visiting with Trupti Karjinni. This hour is jam-packed with her sharing on how she overcame “extreme perfectionism and control issues” and a whole lot more.Trupi lives in India and she talks about the Indian caste system and how she wanted to live her life on her own terms and you stopped living by “the system’s” rules. As you’ll hear, before she met me she had it all in life: Money, love, health, and a great business but she was “empty and hollow inside.” Her exact words were “I was a pile of ash inside.” And, she’ll share with you how she found great joy and happiness in her life today. She’ll share with you the extraordinary power of self-love and how that transformed her life, and she’ll share with you how she abandoned her old belief that she had to work hard to get ahead in life. There are many many takeaways in this episode and she’ll share her discovery that the way to create more money in life is to stop being afraid to put money out. As you will hear, this can be as life-changing for you as it was for her. This episode is pure gold for those who listen, absorb and apply what she shares with you.EnjoyTransformational Takeaway: Just let go of the belief that we need to make things hard on ourselves. And we need to work hard to deserve success because that is attaching our self-worth to external stuff.Let's Connect: Instagram Facebook YouTube LinkedIn LIKED THE EPISODE?If you're the kind of person who likes to help others, then share this with your friends and family. Ep 179: Fear and Comfort Zones: A Live Coaching Session

Start Your Transformation NowThis episode is actually a coaching session that I recently did with a group that I have in group coaching. And after I got off the coaching call, I thought I really want to share that on the podcast. So you'll hear some behind-the-scenes live group coaching. And being candid, I'm very, very direct in this episode with people that I'm coaching. We cover a lot of different topics and after I was done, I thought I should probably share that because the questions that came up were relatable and similar to what I think you the listener would have as well.I often tell my students “what's personal is most general” meaning most of us have the same questions and face similar things in life. I think you'll find there is something for everyone in this episode. The questions covered include focusing to make things happen, the fear of the unknown with a partner facing retirement, how to take your business from surviving to thriving, shifting out of poverty mindset, and how you will not grow if you do not leave your comfort zone. Transformational Takeaway: You will not get out of your fear until you get out of your fear. Until then, it will be a glass prison that will keep you trapped.Let's Connect: Instagram Facebook YouTube LinkedIn LIKED THE EPISODE?If you're the kind of person who likes to help others, then share this with your friends and family. Ep 178: Self-Integrity

Start Your Transformation NowIn this episode, I'm talking about self-integrity and why it's important to show up even when you don't feel like it. Recently I had scheduled an Instagram Live coaching session and had planned to do some live coaching. I was going to call the live a no BS coaching session. When the time came, I was sick. Like sleep for 24 hours sick. But I showed up on time as I had promised and that ended up with me talking about self-integrity. It was a big hit. And my team thought that we should share that episode here on the podcast. And it kind of fits a little bit with last week's episode, when I talked about living from convenience. When you are continually out of integrity you teach people that you cannot be trusted. More importantly, when you are out of self-integrity you teach yourself that you cannot trust yourself.I'm also sharing a story about my brother-in-law, the Shaman, and a time when he was faced with self-integrity when he was young. When we do not honor the words we speak to ourselves and others, we are out of self-integrity.Transformational Takeaway: Always honor your word to self and others.Let's Connect: Instagram Facebook YouTube LinkedIn LIKED THE EPISODE?If you're the kind of person who likes to help others, then share this with your friends and family. Ep 177: The Danger Of Living Your Life From Convenience

Start Your Transformation NowWe all know what convenience is however most of us have never thought about how much we “get into it” and how hurtful that it is.In this quick episode, I discuss the two aspects of convenience that hurt us and a new way we can be to avoid the dangers of convenience. One way that we live from convenience is in the moment. We may not want to work out or mow the yard or run to the store. All understandable, however, this complacency of behavior often leads to more complacency. The second way I discuss is life complacency. We often don’t stretch ourselves to create what we want in life because it’s not convenient. That is the death of great success and achievement!Transformational Takeaway: If you really want something then do whatever it takes to make it happen, even when it’s not convenient.Mentioned Resources:Solve Your Problems AudioLet's Connect: Instagram Facebook YouTube LinkedIn LIKED THE EPISODE?If you're the kind of person who likes to help others, then share this with your friends and family. Ep 176: What Do You Need To Do To Change Yourself To Be Successful?

Start Your Transformation NowYou know what you were probably taught: When you do and achieve certain things you’ll be a success in life. You know, when you get good grades, graduate college, get a good job, get married and the list goes on.The reality is that in most parts of the world we are taught that in order to be happy we have to do a lot of achievement-oriented things and then we spend our entire life trying to do these things that we think will create what we want in life and then we’ll be happy. The conundrum here is that many people do things that make them unhappy so that they can have what they want in life and be happy.Do you see how backwards that is? Many of us do a bazillion things in pursuit of happiness and the things we’re doing in that pursuit make us unhappy. Example: “I want a lot of money and to be a success and I need an MBA. I hate school and graduate school but I need to do it to get what I want so I can be happy.”That’s insanity, to invest a large part of your life being unhappy so that you can ultimately be happy. The truth is…we are programmed like this mentally since we were little kids. Our parents taught us that if we did a lot of things in life we could achieve more and then and only then would we have a good life and be happy. Notice here, with this broken paradigm we are set up for a lifetime on happiness based upon working in a system where we always have to achieve more so we can have that final happiness. That in itself is broken as the premise is always achieve to be happy and it’s become because once we get “there,” we’ll no longer be happy because our MO is to always have another “there.”Happiness is a state of mind and what precedes that state of mind is awareness, and the one thing that we first have to change to be happy is the awareness of what makes us happy and unhappy. In this episode, I discuss this entire broken cycle of existence and how most of us stay trapped in it for a lifetime. And, it does not have to be that way. What we need to change to be happy is nothing. We learned that if we did a whole list of things then and only then would we be happy. And even that, we spend a lifetime trying to change ourselves to be happy. That is broken. There is a better way, a happier way and I discuss it in this episode.Transformational Takeaway: Just be.Mentioned Resources:EPISODE 1: “Transforming Your Life From The Inside Out”Let's Connect: Instagram Facebook YouTube LinkedIn LIKED THE EPISODE?If you're the kind of person who likes to help others, then share this with your friends and family. Ep 175: Podside Chat - How To Be Compassionate Even When People Suck

Start Your Transformation NowWe’ve all been there. Someone does something nasty to us and some part of us feels compelled to do the same, to react, to toss stones back. And, in truth, one of the most powerful things we can do is “evolve” evolve out of that and be compassionate.I remember many years ago hearing Wayne Dyer say, “would you rather be right or be kind?” That’s a huge statement because most of us are more concerned with being right, even if we have to be “mean” to make ourselves right. In this episode, I discuss the role of compassion in our evolution to rap “open-heartedness.”How open-hearted do you think you are? I’m not talking about being nice when you want to and being a “good person.” I’m talking, how open-hearted are you with people when they are hating on you, judging, criticizing, and such?Realize this, if angry, hateful, judgmental people….even family who does this…if you allow them to do it and you judge and throw anger back at them, you’ll spend your life doing this until you master compassion. And, if you do that, they are controlling you!I’m still on the path to mastering this and in this episode, I share my journey to compassion and open-heartedness and perhaps some of it will resonate with you. There is a lot I say in this week’s episode and here is a premise I request you explore: When others hate on you or throw anger at you, they are not telling you who you are, they are telling you who they are.The key, which I address in this episode, is to “polish yourself” so all the hate, judgment, and anger of others “slides” right off you.Transformational Takeaway: I am not who you think I am, you are who you think I am. Listen to this episode and explore how you can expand this open heartedness in your own life.Let's Connect: Instagram Facebook YouTube LinkedIn LIKED THE EPISODE?If you're the kind of person who likes to help others, then share this with your friends and family.
