Episode #88 - What's the biggest turnoff for dating? Therapist Kelli Miller

Therapist Kelli Miller (http://www.kellimiller.com/) of the Dr. Debra and Therapist Kelli show (http://latalkradio.com/content/debra-kelli-show) joins the debate this week. What's a big turnoff for guys? For me, it's swamp-mouth, due mostly to hot babes not flossing. Turns out it's more common than one might think, if it's common for you to date hot babes like I do. Kelli finds stupid guys a real turnoff, Rucka hates complacency and Mikey wants a girl who doesn't so argumentative. So in other words, a girl who doesn't exist. BOOM. Watch the video version here at Madcast Media Network YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChMUFeIZ1l9uRJ4bIXuAKDg?sub_confirmation=1 We finally get a conclusion to Rucka (https://www.youtube.com/user/itsRucka) "Plum" market story where his friend gets a $300 reward that he thinks isn't adequate. Someone who knows the guy called into the show thanks to Rucka! Plus Mikey Bolts (https://www.youtube.com/user/michaelbalalis) opens up a bit about his dating history and the types of girls he's not attracted to: non-argumentative, aka a unicorn. Here's the bonus episode (https://madcastmedia.com/shows/maddoxvsuniverse/3/) for all the winners who want to support the show: https://madcastmedia.com/shows/maddoxvsuniverse/3/ And here's my new book, F*ck Whales: Petty essays from a brilliant mind: http://amzn.to/2oiF2xi We round out the show with a story about a Taco Bell supervisor who gets "beaned" by a burrito. Plus some enterprising guy tricks a valet to give him keys to some dude's Ferrari. The owner's name is "skip" so the DA decides to drop the charges out of principle. The voicemail number is: 1-562-58-I-RULE (1-562-584-7853). Episode #87 - What sucked most about the 2000s? Kristen Brancaccio

Our guest, (Kristen Brancaccio)[https://twitter.com/kristensreality] joins the debate this week, with a surprise answer: nothing. That is, nothing sucked about the 2000s. I point out a little thing called 9/11, and Rucka brings up drug PSAs from the 90s. But since it's the second week we've discussed the reward for saving a life, that's the second debate question this week: is $300 and a banquet enough of a reward for saving someone's life? Or are firefighters getting screwed? Watch the video version here at Madcast Media Network YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChMUFeIZ1l9uRJ4bIXuAKDg?sub_confirmation=1) https://www.youtube.com/embed/videoseries?list=PLf-OiH3ea1_CE0fjmDw3njnqjo2LTl8bu Here's Kristen's Walking Dead video she directed for Bonnie Von Duyke: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XuQpsx-Bpdc And here's a Walking Dead short she directed called "Lost and Found:" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6-GqbNqsfCY Rucka (https://www.youtube.com/user/itsRucka) recaps his story about a guy who saved someone's life in a "Plum" market (think: Whole Foods) and only got $300. Is this a shitty reward? Vote now! Plus ya boi Mikey Bolts (https://www.youtube.com/user/michaelbalalis) is back from a stint with the flu and the NFL. Here's the bonus episode (https://madcastmedia.com/shows/maddoxvsuniverse/3/) for all the winners who want to support the show: https://madcastmedia.com/shows/maddoxvsuniverse/3/ And here's my new book, F*ck Whales: Petty essays from a brilliant mind: http://amzn.to/2CdkfSI This week Mikey Bolts brings in the news, where one of the stories sounds suspiciously like an ad. What do you think? Chime in below. Also this wasn't an exhaustive list of things that sucked from the 2000s, any big ones we missed? And by "we" I mean everyone but me because I know everything. Chime in below: The voicemail number is: 1-562-58-I-RULE (1-562-584-7853). Sources: Maddox - Maddox (http://maddox.xmission.com)

Episode #86 - What sucked most about the 90s? Alan Denton, Caitlin Hall, Rucka, Cosmopolitan

While a lot of websites that rhyme with "sludge feed" reminisce fondly about the 90s, it's also the decade that gave us Kid Rock, shitty sitcoms and Dave Matthews Band. So the debate this week is: WHAT SUCKED MOST ABOUT THE 90s? Sonic Boom writer and story editor, Alan Denton (https://twitter.com/AlanTheWriter) and fan favorite Caitlin Hall (https://twitter.com/caitlingwynne) joins us this week to debate what sucked most about the 90s. Caitlin very craftily avoids mentioning boy bands when she criticizes the music of the decade, only to have me take a big dump on the "bad boys" of the 90s. Alan brings in a forgotten relic: America Online, and we learn that they employed child labor to keep the service running. Rucka's long-shot pick is flannel, which everyone seems to think is awesome and for lumberjacks, which is only something you'd know if you jack lumber like I do. Watch the video version here at Madcast Media Network YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChMUFeIZ1l9uRJ4bIXuAKDg?sub_confirmation=1 Rucka (https://www.youtube.com/user/itsRucka) unintentionally spawned a mini-debate near the end of this episode that was almost as long as the regular debate: is $300 a good reward for saving someone's life? He seems to think it's worse than $15 for saving a dog's life. This was almost the second debate question this week, but we ran out of voting options so chime in below. Also if anyone listening knows about the incident Rucka is talking about in Michigan, please let me know. I want to track these people down. And here's the new bonus episode: https://madcastmedia.com/shows/maddoxvsuniverse/3/ Also, a big you're-welcome to everyone who ordered my book: F*CK WHALES: Petty Essays from a Brilliant Mind: http://amzn.to/2oiF2xi Finally we round out the episode with an article from Cosmo where a woman makes a mold of her husband's penis and then talks about it (and shows it) in the magazine. I hate everything about this. Link below (NSFW). The voicemail number is: 1-562-58-I-RULE (1-562-584-7853). Episode #85 - What's the best pet? Brock Baker, Rucka, Elvis Cup, Dutch Cops, Horse Wang

Comedian and voiceover artist, Brock Baker joins us to debate a timeless debate: which animal makes for the best pet? We don't really count insects in this debate because people who have spiders as pets are creepy AF and nobody cares about spiders. The best way to pet a spider is with your shoe. They're not good pets. All they do is suck things. Also Brock brings in horses, and believe it or not, I actually find more positive attributes of horses than negative. Rucka busts my balls for my TMNT shower curtains and we get into a deep philosophical debate about existence while talking about dog snacks. Watch the video version here at Madcast Media Network YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChMUFeIZ1l9uRJ4bIXuAKDg?sub_confirmation=1 Rucka (https://www.youtube.com/user/itsRucka) and I get into an important debate about the nature of reality that's equal parts yelling and enlightening, which leads me to coin a new phrase on this show: "yellightening." I think it perfectly describes what we do. That, and Jesse P-S' suggestion to change the show's title to, "Disagree to Disagree." And here's the new bonus episode: https://madcastmedia.com/shows/maddoxvsuniverse/3/ Also, a big you're-welcome to everyone who ordered my book: F*CK WHALES: Petty Essays from a Brilliant Mind: http://amzn.to/2oiF2xi Finally we round out the episode with a story about a horse that gets its cock knocked off, and a charity that raises enough money to reconstruct it. Hope it's hot-pink. Plus police in the Netherlands are confiscating clothes from people who look too poor to wear them. Sounds about right. And for those wondering, here's that video of a love bird on YouTube preening itself and accessorizing with paper. https://youtu.be/CJIUNNssSVg The voicemail number is: 1-562-58-I-RULE (1-562-584-7853). Episode #84 - Can quantum mechanics prove reality is subjective? James Ellias, Rucka, Hawaii Nukes, Dab

Physicist James Ellias (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRUATK39-y_dSwmN59_-aNQ) joins us this week to debate: is quantum mechanics proof that reality is subjective? This was an excellent debate that's grounded enough to avoid psuedo-scientific bullshit while simultaneously scratching your philosophical and scientific itch. That's what I do every time anyone interacts with me, as I am both a supreme philosopher and a supreme scientist. Watch the video version here at Madcast Media Network YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChMUFeIZ1l9uRJ4bIXuAKDg?sub_confirmation=1 Rucka (https://www.youtube.com/user/itsRucka) and James are both objectivists, which means that you'll hear a lot of exasperated sighs from both sides of the debate. Mikey Bolts (https://www.youtube.com/user/michaelbalalis) couldn't make it this week due to explosive diarrhea. Last week's guest, Alan Denton (https://twitter.com/AlanTheWriter) calls in to gloat about his win, and Jesse P-S (https://madcastmedia.com/shows/cringevscringe/) calls in to shit on podcasts in general. https://youtu.be/CEGkAfq0iy8 And here's the new bonus episode: https://madcastmedia.com/shows/maddoxvsuniverse/3/ Also, a big you're-welcome to everyone who ordered my book: F*CK WHALES: Petty Essays from a Brilliant Mind: http://amzn.to/2oiF2xi Finally we round out the episode with a story that makes my dick shrivel with anger: 6-year-olds dabbing. Plus a fake ballistic missile warning for Hawaii. Plus some alt-right idiots trying to arrest the mayor of London "non-violently." Did you know non-violent also means peaceful? Huh! Episode #83 - Is nostalgia ruining TV? Alan Denton, Rucka, Mikey Bolts, New Nirvana, Fake Dong

Sonic Boom writer and story-editor, Alan Denton (https://twitter.com/AlanTheWriter) joins us this week to debate: is nostalgia ruining television? With Fuller House, X-Files, Coach and a number of other old sitcoms slated to return, it leads us to the debate this week. Do you like this shit or is it time for something new? What will people reboot in the future if we skip an entire generation of content to pump out reboots? And the other side of the coin is that it's become increasingly difficult to capture your share of an audience, so is nostalgia justified? Damn that's a good summary. Watch the video version here at Madcast Media Network YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChMUFeIZ1l9uRJ4bIXuAKDg?sub_confirmation=1 We find out Rucka (https://www.youtube.com/user/itsRucka) and Mikey Bolts (https://www.youtube.com/user/michaelbalalis) are part of a gang: the Gigler-gang. Is it as lame as it sounds? Yes. But you may still be surprised. Alan also created the animated web series, "Grandma vs The Internet." Here's the first episode: https://youtu.be/O7lKJYYHfSA And here's the new bonus episode: https://madcastmedia.com/shows/maddoxvsuniverse/3/ Also, a big you're-welcome to everyone who ordered my book: F*CK WHALES: Petty Essays from a Brilliant Mind: http://amzn.to/2oiF2xi Finally we round out the episode with some stories about a man with an 18" penis that's called into question. Episode #82 - 2018 Predictions, Jesse P-S, Rucka, 2017 Results, Taco Burger

Jesse P-S from Cringe vs Cringe (https://madcastmedia.com/shows/cringevscringe/) on this network joins the show this week for our yearly New Year predictions. Rucka made three predictions last year, namely that I would fall in love with Trump, Taylor Swift would clean up her act and that I would fuck off. Did any of those come true? NO. Especially the last one. One of mine did come true, but only if you think evidence matters. Watch the video version here at Madcast Media Network YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChMUFeIZ1l9uRJ4bIXuAKDg?sub_confirmation=1 Rucka (https://www.youtube.com/user/itsRucka) makes some very interesting predictions for the coming year, but is it compelling enough to trump my taco burger prediction? Only time will tell. Mikey Bolts (https://www.youtube.com/user/michaelbalalis) is out for the holidays, but I suspect he'd have also predicted taco burger. We may never know. https://youtu.be/_snt45unyqY And for those curious, here's the Italian "Three Bears" cartoon if you want to watch the full thing: https://youtu.be/XuGpdFlsf6c And it's finally here: https://madcastmedia.com/shows/maddoxvsuniverse/3/ Also, a big you're-welcome to everyone who ordered my book: F*CK WHALES: Petty Essays from a Brilliant Mind: http://amzn.to/2oiF2xi Finally we round out the episode with a story of monkeys that are humping Sika Deer in Japan, and people outraged over Alexa results.
