How yoga can help you find your path to spirituality
Yoga is more than just an instagram trend!!
In this episode we are joined by the lovely Filipa, the founder of viryaretreat, a yoga and mindfulness retreat in Portugal that will be taking place this July!
In this episode, Filipa challenges the stereotypes which come with being a yoga teacher, and the practice of yoga in general - touching on perfectionism and body image. She discusses her personal relationship with yoga, how it slowly became an important aspect of how she lives her life, and how it has acted as a gateway to discovering spirituality.
We had an amazing time recording with @whereisfili and chatting about all things mindfulness, a topic we both feel passionate about but definitely are not the most educated in! If you like her ethos and are interested in booking a spot on her retreat, make sure you follow @viryaretreat on instagram where you can access all necessary information and book your spot!

Discussing our cultural differences & stereotypes we've faced
Answering the "where are you from question" 💚✨
This week we'll be talking about a topic that we've wanted to for a while but never knew how to best address it, as it can be so easy to miss the mark on this one and we never want to be insensitive 🥺 ! However, we decided that this is as good a time as any to talk about our experiences with growing up multiculturally, the cultural differences we’ve experienced moving to a new country, as well as some of the stereotypes we have faced.
We hope you enjoy this episode and would love to hear your experiences as well so please send us a message at (@the.matcha.diares), where you can also get our latest updates!
