Our podcast covers ideas and strategies you can take into your life and apply to be a better father, husband, and man. Our goal is to provide a positive outlet for Dads to grow and foster a strong legacy.
Our mission is to empower fathers to be better husbands and parents. We accomplish this by focusing on being present with our children, interviewing incredible fathers with compelling stories, and disrupting negative cultural influences that harm fathers in order to make a positive and lasting impact in our society.

He served as a US Marine and upon leaving the military began working in corporate supply chain sales. Eventually he started working part time for The Babylon Bee and ultimately accepted a full-time position with them.

#46 - GEORGE HAYWORTH | From Separation to Restoration Pt. 2
This is Part 2 of George Hayworth's story. In this part we dive into the healing process for George both on a personal level with his childhood wounds and on a joint level in his marriage with his wife.
George walks through the actions and resources and people that played a pivotal role in recovering from the damage he created in his marriage. In order to show up better as a husband he also had to heal and grow as a man. There is a great deal of lessons learned in this part 2 that you can apply in your own life. In addition to the story of restoration, we cover some broader topics like legacy, fatherhood, and some of George's personal stories.
The lesson George hopes everyone will take from this episode is this:
If you are willing to do the work and humble yourself to accept responsibility for your mistakes, you can have healing and restoration. George's marriage was on the brink of divorce numerous times and even included a separation, yet now his wife have celebrated over 10 years of marriage and are stronger than they ever imagined.

George shares his story of childhood trauma, life in the military, marriage, fatherhood and how he and his wife fought through severe challenges to remain married. Part 1 of George's story chronicles his life and the internal struggles he carried from childhood into adulthood. After many failures and causing a great deal of harm to his family, George brought his flaws into the light and started on the path to healing.
George fell prey to what is called emotional or covert incest. Two books that describe this in great detail are Silently Seduced and Healing the Wounded Heart. Watch George's story to learn more about this relatively unknown form of abuse that happens to children and adolescents.

#45 - WAYNE BOATWRIGHT | From Success to Prison: a Father's Story of Loss and Redemption
As an Ivy-league attorney, start-up techie, and someone who served a 6-year stint at San Quentin (also former Managing Editor of the San Quentin News) Father, attorney, and essayist, Wayne Boatwright left his career, wife, and two children behind when he arrived at California's infamous San Quentin prison to serve his time.
Without disclosing he was an attorney, he became the Managing Editor of the San Quentin News (circulation 35,000).
But what would you do if four months into your sentence, your wife asked you for a divorce? Would you figure that without being married, there was no way to stay connected to your children and give up trying to be a dad? Or would you humble yourself and ask for the help you needed to stay in their lives?
Since his release, Boatwright uses his experiences to help others and promote awareness about the true cost of going to prison. Boatwright has started his own blog, detailing his life experiences before, during and after prison.
