EP 218: Automation & AdWords Scripts w/Frederick Vallaeys
Frederick Vallaeys is the Cofounder and CEO of Optmyzr - a PPC tool for advertisers and agencies. Frederick worked at Google for 10 years as a Google AdWords Evangelist and was also a member of the team that created the AdWords Editor. EP 217: The Knowledge Divide w/Kyle Lacy
We have interviewed guests all over the world but rarely do we get to talk to someone locally like we did this week. Kyle Lacy, the new VP of Marketing of Lessonly, joined us in our studio this week. Kyle's career began in Indianapolis having roles with ExactTarget and Salesforce Marketing Cloud before heading off to Boston to work with OpenView, a venture capital firm with over $715M under management focused on expansion-stage software companies. But has moved back to Indianapolis (about three weeks ago!) to take this role with Lessonly. Kyle has spoken at conferences all over the world and is even the author of Twitter for Dummies. In this episode, we talk about getting investment dollars for Indianapolis, what he means by "The Knowledge Divide", and his childhood desire to be a Civil War reenactor. EP 216: Building A Sustainable Content Marketing Plan w/Paddy Moogan
Paddy Moogan, the former florist and law student, is the co-founder of Aira, a digital marketing agency based in the UK. Paddy is a well-known SEO and has been working in SEO since 2004 when he was meant to be studying for a law degree and got bored. He was the VP of Operations at Distilled before leaving in 2015 to start Aira. Paddy is also the author of "The Link Building Book" and has spoken at a number of different conferences including SMX Sydney, MozCon, BrightonSEO, SES, Marketing Festival and SAScon. In this podcast, Paddy wanted to talk with us about the lessons he has learned in running an SEO agency for the last two years. Like I said earlier, he started Aira in 2015 and it has now grown to 12 people! What has he learned and what advice can he give to other agency owners.
