Domineering Leaders Produce Compliant, But Weak Teams
Domineering leaders who demand compliance without fostering independent thinking or commitment produce compliant but weak teams. While they may achieve short-term results through fear or intimidation, over time, the organization suffers. Such leaders create followers who are not leaders themselves, only yes people who do what they're told. As the organization grows, the risk of instilling fear in employees also increases. A respected leader encourages commitment through open dialogue, mutual respect, and avoiding a domineering approach.
