The curse of knowledge refers to experts having vast information in their heads, causing them to skip important details and make automatic decisions. When explaining the difference between red and white wine to a five-year-old, the flavor profiles, method of making, overall taste and flavor, and what to pair them with are all different. While non-experts may think red wine is made from red grapes and white wine from white grapes, experts know that it's the fermentation process with the skin that determines the color. The problem with knowledge is that everyone has an opinion and believes they are experts.
