To build a successful business, you need to focus on providing a specific value to a specific audience. This value is the foundation of your business, and everything else is just different tactics. Instead of getting bogged down in improving your course, growing your audience, or creating new products, always remember your core value and audience. Align your messaging with this value and audience by ensuring your bios, sales pages, and other communication reflect it. To generate ideas on how to provide value, brainstorm different ways you can serve your audience. Additionally, regularly evaluate your business by making a list of everything you did in the past year that earned you money and rank them based on enjoyment. This exercise will help you identify what you enjoy and what brings in money. Focus on continuing to do what you enjoy and pays well, phase out activities you dislike and don't bring in much money, and consider tweaking activities that bring in money but aren't enjoyable. By constantly evaluating and adjusting, you can build a business that brings value to your audience and satisfaction to you.
