The Power of Body Still, Mind Active Practice

The practice of sitting or lying down in stillness and thinking in complete sentences can lead to new ideas and ways of structuring thought. Many accomplished individuals, such as Rick, Carl Diceroth, Elon Musk, Richard Feynman, and Einstein, have engaged in some form of this practice. It is contrasted with the behavior of engaging in physical activity like running or swimming without directing the mind towards anything specific. The state of body still, mind active can be achieved through techniques like macro-dose psilocybin with an eye mask or rhythmic movement. Divorcing mind and body temporarily can allow the unconscious mind to take over and provide new insights and access to different aspects of cognition. While psilocybin is one avenue into this state, it is not the only one, and there may be hazards associated with it. The practice of body still, mind active states is predicted to gain more attention and become an important aspect of accessing the unconscious and cognition along with meditation, deep rest, yoga, knee, dra hypnosis, and other practices.
