ACTUALLY Being a Contrarian VS a fake Contrarian

A telltale sign of a fake contrarian is when they are overly excited to tell you about their contrarian idea. These individuals are more focused on performing socially and enjoying the idea of being a contrarian rather than genuinely believing in their viewpoint. On the other hand, real contrarians calmly and confidently explain their point of view without seeking to convince others. They genuinely believe that their perspective is correct and are often surprised when others don't see it the same way. This is similar to someone who is more excited about the idea of having a relationship than actually being with the person they are in a relationship with.
