Narcissism encompasses different types including grandiose, vulnerable, malignant, and communal. Grandiose narcissists are arrogant and charismatic, often achieving what they boast. Vulnerable narcissists exhibit traits such as chronic victimhood, passive aggression, and social anxiety, failing to act on their grand plans. Malignant narcissists are the most severe, showing characteristics of psychopathy, manipulativeness, and sadism. Communal narcissists seek validation by appearing as rescuers and do-gooders, such as cult leaders or individuals who present a saintly facade but behave abusively in private.
