Andy Pace, Healthy Home Concierge and Founder of The Green Design Center, is back already. Our first show together was fantastic, looking at some of the disconnects between choosing building styles and materials and their impact on human health - seems to be we’re building for a very narrow success metric of energy saving while ignoring indoor humidity and mould growth potential. Add to that sloppier and more lax building codes in many places around the world where waterproofing isn’t done properly or wooden frames are filled over while still wet, and there are disasters waiting to happen - sometimes within just a year or two of the build being completed.
