- Introduction to My New YouTube Channel
- After my original channel was deleted unexpectedly, I'm starting anew. This deletion was a surprise, especially since my channel was gaining traction with over 2,000 subscribers.
- Reason Behind Channel Deletion
- The deletion seems to be due to my content about peptides and linking to research chemical companies. YouTube flagged this as harmful and dangerous, though I believe it was not illegal.
- It's puzzling as my channel had just been monetized and I hadn't received any warnings or strikes, which are usually given before such drastic action.
- Loss of Content and Future Plans
- I lost over 450 videos, approximately 500 hours of teaching content. Thankfully, I've saved about 35 recent videos which I plan to re-upload.
- My strategy going forward includes making three YouTube videos per week focused on peptides, fat loss, and hormone optimization – similar to my previous content but with smarter tagging and presentation.
- Adapting to YouTube's Policies
- I'll avoid directly recommending research chemical companies on YouTube to comply with their policies. Instead, I'm creating a supplement source PDF for my audience, accessible through an opt-in email link.
- This approach ensures I stay within YouTube's guidelines while still providing valuable information to my followers.
- Building a Resilient Community
- To maintain a robust connection with my audience, I'm emphasizing the importance of my email list. This list is a secure way to share information and updates, ensuring we stay connected despite any platform changes.
- My emails will include written articles that complement my video content, offering an alternative for those who prefer reading.
- Engaging with My Audience
- I'm inviting my audience to submit video topic requests, ensuring my content aligns with their interests. This interactive approach will help tailor my videos to what my audience genuinely wants to learn about.
- Joining my email list is highly recommended as it's the most reliable way to access all my content and updates, especially in case of future platform issues.
- Diversifying Content Platforms
- I'm backing up all my content to my podcast, providing an alternative for those who prefer audio formats. This also serves as a safety net in case of further YouTube issues.
- I'm committed to maintaining high-quality, advanced content and will not simplify it for other platforms like Instagram or TikTok.
- Reflecting on the Loss and Moving Forward
- Losing my original YouTube channel was a significant setback, as it was like a library of my brain and thoughts over the years.
- However, this situation has given me an opportunity to update and improve my content. I'm excited to rebuild and share my knowledge in a more refined and focused manner.
