My guest today is Chris Singleton. Chris is a former minor league baseball player who was drafted by the Chicago Cubs. He has since become a nationally renowned speaker who speaks on the message of resilience, forgiveness and unity. After Chris lost his mother in the 2015 Mother Emanuel Church Tragedy, he found that the only way for him to move forward was to no longer harbor his pain but to use it to help others and to promote unity and forgiveness. This conversation was heavy and emotional but it’s such a beautiful reminder that we can all use especially in light of the recent mass shootings in Buffalo and Uvalde. As we all grapple with how to make a difference and how to have these difficult conversations, Chris’ wisdom and powerful message are one that I know we all need to hear. Chris speaks on his early life, what happened after he lost his mother and how he delivers his message of unity to middle schoolers and C-suite executives alike.
