Beatriz Botero Arcila is a Colombian lawyer who started her career in environmental law and later discovered her interest in technology law while studying for her LLM and Ph.D. at Harvard University. She has been working in the field of city digitalization and information governance and is a faculty associate at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University. She works with the Edgelands Institute, focusing on information governance in cities with an emphasis on security and surveillance.
