Fear, trauma + grief: Our psychological responses to the Aussie bushfires
Hello lovely listeners,
Given the tragic Christmas period Australia faced, we thought it was extremely important to discuss the common psychological responses to natural disasters. We discuss how the bushfires and natural disasters in general, can have a chronic psychological effect on those impacted directly and indirectly.
In this episode we divulge different types of trauma, dealing with helplessness, fear and the grief cycle.
We've had to split this episode up into two parts given the immensity of this topic.
