Michael Hughes, a guest on the podcast, discussed various topics including structured water, the interplay between rationalism and mysticism, the concept of dark matter in science, and the active role of water in biological systems.
The conversation delved into the significance of water's active role in biological systems, highlighting how water plays a crucial part in the activities within cells and the human body. It explored a paradigm shift in biophysics that emphasizes the dynamic nature of water's involvement in biological functions.
The discussion expanded to touch on consciousness and the distribution of conscious experiences throughout the human body and cells. It drew connections between water's properties, information processing capabilities, and the potential role of water in shaping conscious behaviors and experiences.
The episode explored the implications of water's active role in biological and conscious processes, suggesting that understanding water's influence could lead to significant insights into information processing, consciousness, and overall health. The conversation hinted at the interconnectedness of structured water and its impact on various phenomena observed in biological systems and beyond.
Water's behavior in biological systems is influenced by its unique ability to change states and densities. As discussed, water's interaction with salts, such as potassium and sodium, alters its structure and conductive properties, impacting cellular functions like muscle contraction and nerve impulses.
Proteins, like microtubules, interact with water by forming structures that influence water's behavior. The presence of negatively charged polymers around the microtubules alters the water's lattice structure, affecting communication within cells.
Gilbert Ling's groundbreaking work on the Association Induction Hypothesis challenges traditional views on cellular mechanisms. The theory emphasizes the importance of water's structuring in cellular activities, highlighting the role of water in storing energy and facilitating molecular interactions.
The exploration of UFO phenomena has led to introspection on the nature of scientific inquiry and the value of unconventional ideas. Bridging the gap between UFO narratives and scientific studies reveals shared themes of lost knowledge, innovative perspectives, and the quest for understanding complex phenomena.
Navigating the realms of scientific exploration and paranormal experiences involves critical analysis of personal accounts and physical evidence. The investigation of UFO encounters and unexplained phenomena prompts reflection on the intricacies of perception, reality, and the boundaries between scientific inquiry and subjective narratives.
The podcast delves into the intricate nature of human interaction and the parallels drawn between human behavior and scientific experimentation. It discusses the process of conducting experiments on mice in a colony and how it aligns with human behavior, triggering thoughts on projection and study methodologies.
The episode addresses the challenges of discerning reality from perception, highlighting the complexities in studying phenomena like telepathy and near-death experiences scientifically. It explores the reliance on personal experiences and how they shape one's beliefs and perspectives on the unknown.
A significant focus is placed on the remarkable properties of water as a medium for transmitting information and its sensitivity to environmental changes. The discussion explores water's role in connecting light, human bodies, and microtubules, hinting at its potential as a conduit for energetic interactions.
The podcast emphasizes the importance of incorporating spirituality and metaphysical perspectives into scientific inquiries. It encourages a holistic approach that acknowledges the significance of belief systems and metaphysical frameworks in shaping scientific exploration and understanding.

Michael has a long history of trying to understand the role that water plays in fundamental biological operations from structural assembly to diseases like Alzheimers and Prion disorders. Presently, he is hard at work on a biological theory of everything where water plays out the role of central actor in biological processes from form to consciousness. Our conversation today begins with Michael's journey into the water rabbit hole, exploring the strange way that water structures itself within cells. We work toward an understanding of water as a photo-electrically, an electro-statically sensitive molecule capable of mechanically altering cellular function in response to conscious and external signals. We hope to have Michael back to explore a mutual fascination with the historic interface of spirituality and science by way of Rudolph Steiner and Western esotericism.
