Secondary Gain is what we would call the unconscious "benefit" of an undesired behavior, symptom, pattern, or wound. It's the hidden reason why you keep doing/experiencing what you don't want, and of course, it's all got to do with our inner children not having their needs met. Understanding this about your psychology and somatic wellness may help you break through a glass ceiling in your healing journey.
