In this episode, I’m opening up about something deeply personal—my journey from perfectionism and hyper-responsibility to embracing fun and play as vital parts of life.
After a weekend with friends in Los Angeles, I realized how much I had long resisted fun, seeing it as frivolous and irresponsible. This belief was deeply rooted in my childhood trauma and the loss of my older brother.
However, that weekend in L.A. opened my eyes to a new perspective: fun isn't a distraction and it doesn’t come at a cost—it's a source of energy, success, and joy.
By giving myself permission to enjoy life, I found a form of freedom and fulfillment that I had long denied myself. I invite you to reflect on what might be possible if you allowed yourself the same freedom to reclaim a part of yourself you may have denied.
