About the Guest
Dr. Ashley Dwyer is the Founder and CEO of The Big Day Nutrition, a company she established in 2018 to revolutionize the way we approach health and wellness. Dr. Dwyer graduated from the UF College of Pharmacy in 2014 and worked as a retail pharmacist for several years.
Throughout her career as a pharmacist, Dr. Dwyer felt constrained by the traditional medical model, which often relied heavily on medications to treat preventable illnesses. She recognized that many of these conditions could be managed or alleviated through lifestyle modifications and improved nutrition. This insight prompted her to transition from the pharmacy to health coaching.
With a decade of experience in pharmacology and healthcare, coupled with her background in NPC bodybuilding competitions and personal health challenges, Dr. Dwyer has garnered extensive knowledge from functional medicine practitioners and numerous certifications. Her mission is to help clients master balanced nutrition and effective training without resorting to crash diets.
Dr. Dwyer's credentials include PharmD, ACE Health Coach, HMCC, FNMS, Plant-based Nutrition, and soon-to-be Women's Health.
She is a strong advocate for fueling our bodies correctly, using clean ingredients, engaging in strength training, and fostering a positive mindset. Dr. Dwyer believes that life is meant to be lived to the fullest, and achieving health and wellness should not require severe restrictions.
