Stephanie Gaskell is a journalist with 25 years of experience covering war and veterans, politics and policy. She has worked for the Associated Press, The New York Post and The New York Daily News, where she reported from Iraq, Afghanistan, Guantanamo, Haiti, Brussels and the World Trade Center site after 9/11. She was also managing editor of Defense One, a division of Atlantic Media, editor of social media and digital development at Military Times and covered the Pentagon for POLITICO. She also created and edited two popular websites, War Zone and The War Report.
