Why Medical Justice is Best Served Cold, with Jeffrey Segal, MD, JD, Part 2
This is part 2 of my interview with Dr. Jeffrey Segal, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Medical Justice. Dr. Segal is a board-certified neurosurgeon. He was a practicing neurosurgeon for ten years, during which time he also played an active role as a participant on various state-sanctioned medical review panels designed to decrease the incidence of meritless medical malpractice cases. We start this part discussing what services are provided by Medical Justice and then discuss the national practitioner databank, including its origins, how to stay out of the databank, and how to utilize arbitration.
