Today I’m covering some gems from Price Pritchett’s book, You Squared.

He says you don’t have to be content with improving things incrementally or gradually in your life. You can create an “explosive jump” in your personal performance that puts you far beyond the next logical step.

To multiply your personal effectiveness and achieve a quantum leap, you need to be ready for it. That means you must become the “receptacle” to receive something bigger. It’s not that you’re achieving something—you’re receiving what’s already inside of you.

In today’s episode you’ll learn:

• • You must create a space in your life to receive the good you desire

• • You need to obsess on your desire (like you did as a child) and be persistent about reaching it

• • A magnificent obsession is a very good thing—it means you’re focusing on what you want in life

• • Experiencing a breakthrough will demand “a radical departure from some of your habits”

• • How to create a new model in your mind where you can change the rules about what’s possible for you to earn, and in what timeframe

• • To experience doubt, guilt, and shame is to deny your ambitious human nature

Everything you want is already inside you—it’s already here. Prepare to make the quantum leap. Pay attention to what you see today, including the opportunities all around you. A quantum leap will often require you to say “yes” to an opportunity. The decision always comes first—then the “how” shows up.
