Being unique is important, but solely focusing on uniqueness may not drive sales effectively. Attention-grabbing tactics like creating extremely unique products or doing unconventional actions might not lead to increased sales. Sales are driven by effective communication and the ability to present and convey the value of a product or service.
Unique Process vs. Uniqueness for Attention
Having a unique process or product is valuable, but relying solely on uniqueness to stand out may not be sufficient for sales growth. Understanding the problems you solve for your audience and connecting with them on a specific and relatable level is crucial. Uniqueness should stem from how you communicate, teach, and present yourself rather than just the novelty of your offering.
Keys to Achieving Uniqueness in Communication and Branding
Energy, teaching style, and communication approach play vital roles in establishing uniqueness and standing out in your industry. By mastering your energy, teaching methods, and manner of communication, you can create a distinct brand identity. Validating the audience's reality, getting specific to their situations, and engaging in subconscious communication are key elements to become uniquely impactful.

Authentic communication involves validating the audience's experiences, presenting information specific to their situations, and engaging in subconscious communication that resonates deeply. By speaking as if in a one-on-one conversation and mastering the energy and teaching approaches, you can craft a unique and compelling communication style that drives connection and trust with your audience.
Having a unique (breakthrough) product does NOT equal sales. And yet, I hear it all the time from marketing gurus, “You have to be unique in order to stand out.” While your uniqueness might help you gain attention, attention doesn’t necessarily mean sales. I’ve had many students come to me with thousands of followers and zero sales and this might be something you've experienced as well.
