Despite waking up everyday in agonising pain, David van Wetherill is a Former British International Table Tennis Player and Paralympian who has the rare bone development disorder Multiple Epiphyseal Dysplasia. He has represented Great Britain at three international Paralympic Games, the first being Beijing in 2008 followed by London in 2012 and then 2016 Paralympic Games. More recently he takes on every challenge he can, including a World Record breaking Full Marathon on crutches.
