According to the 2022 National Survey on LGBTQ Youth Mental Health, 45% of LGBTQ youth seriously considered attempting suicide in the past year and 14% attempted suicide in the past year. Stigma, mistreatment, and lack of support have been reported as key elements in one’s risk of suicidality.
