Cassius Rayner has over 20 years of experience in video production across various sectors, from documentaries, drama, music videos, corporate videos, branding and NGOs. Since 2014 Cassius has dedicated his art, craft and skills to using mobile phones to capture stories. He works overseas, telling important stories in hostile situations that only a mobile phone could capture, always exploring and pushing the boundaries of mobile lenses and using light. He has won several international awards for short films, documentaries and a music video winning Best Director at the Tokyo Film Festival.

Cassius is featured by various media, podcasts and magazines on his work producing video content using mobile phones and has built up a reputation as an expert in this field. He has worked in the USA, Chile, Brazil, China, Ethiopia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Europe and Hong Kong. Since 2017 Cassius has received 12 international film awards for his films. His work takes Cassius worldwide, making documentaries and teaching filmmaking.
