321: Focus on This Instead of Trying to Hole Putts

Today's five-minute Friday is stop trying to hole putts and focus on building confidence from "making putts" even if they don't go in.

As Dr. Parent said in episode 320, "You want your confidence based on whether you make them or not. Make, and making them means you like the way you got them started.

So focus on that and let that be your confidence builder and say, man, I'm putting great. They're just not going in. Maybe I'm not reading. Maybe I need to read a little more break in or if I'm missing them low, or maybe I'm overcompensating and reading too much.

I'm going to adjust, but I'm not going to change my stroke or my routine because I'm making every putt."
