This episode is special to me as I have the chance to sit down with a recovery warrior and friend Courtney Andersen.

Courtney is the Founder of Sober Vibes! For the last seven and a half years, she has been recovering from her addiction to alcohol.  She got Sober at 29 just about two months before her 30th birthday. She was a mess and very into her addiction to alcohol.  Waking up in jail, hospitals, men's beds who she had no clue the names of and a few suicide attempts.    Since then, Courtney has chosen to be loud and proud about her Sobriety as it's been helpful for her to shed the shame and stigma of her addiction. 

She has started the online community Sober Vibes for women who need support in their recovery and addiction.  It's an active community of women empowerment, inspiration, and healing. Courtney is a firm believer that there is no one way to recover and have done it all, twelve steps, therapy, coaching, etc. We are always evolving and growing, so sometimes one tool doesn't work your whole journey. Sober Vibes has now evolved into a sober lifestyle brand! A podcast, free resources, and coaching, and courses.  Courtney  co-founded National Sober Day. September 14th, 2019 which was the first-ever National Sober Day.
