Brian Patafie is a physical therapist and athletic trainer in the sport of hockey! With the upcoming start of the 2021-22 season with the Chilliwack Chiefs, comes the start of Brian’s 42nd year in the game of hockey, which he recently announced would be his last. While he has traveled the world with the sport, he spent the majority of his career with the Calgary Flames organization, including a stay here in Salt Lake with my late, beloved Golden Eagles, and spent 4 years at the NHL level. In 2009 Brian released his first book called “Ice It Down- A Look at Pro Hockey Through a Trainers Eyes”, and is currently working on his second book “No Days Off – The Story of a Hockey Purgatory”. Brian is also a Keynote Speaker, host of the podcast “Live with Taf”, and stand-up comedian. Brian’s message focuses on how humor can enhance the workplace environment.
