#75: Surpassing Lucky with Nicholas Kelly – Part 2
Nicholas Kelly is the Chairman and Co-founder of Axela – a company that combines healthcare technology and social care. At the time of recording, it is worth £5.1 million and has 1200 employees. Nick is a former RAF pilot and has worked for Apple and LinkedIn.
Nick joins me for part two where we have pooled all of the business side of what Nick does. We talk about what goes into making a successful strategic partnership, lessons learnt, and the importance of getting back up and trying again. We also talk about the fact that Nick is a black entrepreneur and why he is making more of an effort to showcase all that he is and all that his organisations are doing to help and inspire other people.
“I don’t think there is a glass ceiling, but you have to keep pushing and make sure no one else pushes you down. You’ve got to have focus and make sure nothing takes you off that focus.” Nicholas Kelly
