Through years of experience training athletes and refining his system for objective testing and training, he discovered the reason that he was velocity deficient and how to test and train athletes with similar deficits.

A lot of our discussion involves the nuance and specificity of training adaptations and why the athlete with the highest 1RM often isn’t the one hitting the most home runs.
