Hey Untanglers!
Rejection Rejection Rejection no one likes… but if you have ADHD rejection hurts a whole lot more and not even real rejection, perceived rejection can knock us down like a ton of bricks.
It's that time of year where the world tells us to celebrate LOVE! I think we should celebrate love everyday and I don't mean with gifts, I mean just try our best to lead with love wherever we love for others and love for ourselves. Now loving oneself, especially when you have ADHD, can feel impossible. Let's face it we have spent our whole lives hating ourselves. The day of Love can be a mixed bag for us ADHDers, especially when Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD) is part of the picture. The pressure of romantic expectations, the fear of rejection, and the desire to feel truly understood can make this celebration uniquely challenging.
In this heartfelt episode, we’re joined by some of our favorite past guests to explore the intersections of ADHD, RSD, and relationships.
Together, we’ll discuss:
❤️ How ADHD impacts intimacy, communication, and love languages
💔 The experience of RSD in romantic contexts and how to reframe rejection
🌹 Practical strategies to create meaningful connections
Featuring powerful stories and expert advice from Mrs ADHD, Shareefa J, Dr Ned Halliwell, Helen Anderson and Professor James Brown, this conversation is here to remind you that love—including self-love—doesn’t have to be perfect to be real.
Whether you're in a relationship, navigating the dating world, or celebrating solo, this episode offers insights, empathy, and actionable tips to help you embrace love in all its forms.
Let’s get untangled and show the world what we’re made of!
ADHD COACHING
Have you ever felt the need to change who you are in order to fit in?
me too!
And I’ve spent so many years hectically running around this world trying to be everything and everyone else but my true myself
Party girl, house wife, rebel, addict, yogi…. To name a few
Hoping that eventually, something would work and something would fix me and make me normal…
None of it ever did.
But two things in my life that have allowed me to live a more meaningful and authentic life and that is Yoga & My ADHD Diagnosis, which is why I am on a Mission to support as many individuals with ADHD to turn their struggle into strength with ADHD through Movement & ADHD Coaching.
