Bryan Fitzsimmons (@coach_fitzz) is an online fat loss coach who specializes in working with mom’s over 40, and host of the Fit40 Podcast. Bryan and I met at an event in Dallas where we connected with many other amazing coaches and thought to keep it rolling with this discussion!
Since Bryan specializes in coaching women, we spoke about many of the most common myths that women have surrounding fitness and nutrition. It’s a shame that these myths exist, but they do, so it’s important to regularly have these discussions to spread correct information and set you on the right path with your health and fitness.
One of the biggest and possibly more harmful myths is the idea that super low calorie diets are needed to lose weight, and are the only way to do it. This is simply not true, and often causes more harm than good. We discussed this and gave some practical tips as to what you should consider doing instead.
