The Better Than Rich Show
Personal Growth Through the Lens of Shame and Self-Acceptance | The Better Than Rich Show Ep. 75
Differentiating between our false self and true self can be challenging, but recognizing that we are inherently worthy of love and belonging is a way to distinguish the two. Our false self is built on walls and a desire for power and control to protect ourselves from shame and insecurity, while our true self is rooted in vulnerability and authenticity. When we become aware of our false self and its judgments, we can step back and observe it from a place of true self-awareness and return to a state of worthiness. This return to the true self is a place of strength and authenticity, where we can see the worthiness in ourselves and others without the protection of our ego walls.
