One of my presentations at the Wedding MBA conference this year was on Secret-Shopping. We inquired with over 200 companies throughout the year, and around the country, pretending to be an engaged couple, asking for pricing and package information – as so many real couples do. We filled out the contact form on these company’s websites and then waited and tracked the results. Hint: it wasn’t pretty!
