Dr. Reedy discusses the relationship between attachment (secure or anxious) and trauma. He explains that how we relate to our children - focusing on our nervous system regulation, our personal trauma histories, and how well we “see” and provide safety for our children, the more we can minimize the effects of traumatic events. He explains how exposure to a regulated and healed parent can foster resiliency in our children.
