Meet Kayla Sides: mental health advocate
In this episode of Normalize The Conversation, Kayla Sides shares her own journey with Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Major Depressive Disorder. From lack of awareness and education on proper medication usage, Kayla ended up hospitalized in a psych ward. It was then, Kayla realized she had to teach herself how to better understand what she was going through. Now, Kayla is passionate about advocating for her own mental health and for the mental health of others. Join us as Kayla shares her mental health journey, and the importance of normalizing the conversation on mental health and ending the stigma.
