Dr. Tro Kalayjian, also known as Dr. Tro, which is easier to pronounce, is a board-certified Internal Medicine & Obesity Medicine Physician. He is the medical director and founder of Dr. Tro’s Medical Weight Loss and Direct Primary Care in New York. Dr. Tro’s therapeutic focus includes diabetes, obesity, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, metabolic syndrome and PCOS, and his approach is informed not only by the medical literature, and his own experience losing 150 pounds (68 kg) on a ketogenic diet. His intensive lifestyle changes for patients include diet, exercise, improved sleep hygiene, as well as stress management and mental health.
