Perfection is a condition that seems great at the moment, but in the long run, it can destroy your dreams and your life.

Go back to a time when you became frozen in time. No matter what you did to try and redirect your actions, all you could do was stay where you were.
- Dream of making the varsity team in High School
- Winning a national championship
- Making the cut for the play or musical
- Asking the cutest guy out for prom
- Applying to THEE graduate school
- Being the wife and mom that is still sexy at the end of the day
- Loving the woman you see in the mirror
But it didn't seem as you dreamed. The reality of life was more challenging than dreaming it all.
Your passion and authenticity are what make you stand out in the crowd. You don't need to prove anything except to live your best life as your best self.
All of this happens when you create your now. Being perfect is not for you or me. Flaws add character.
So stick to the best ones.

However, when you allow yourself to get caught up in everyone else's expectations, you leave your passion and authenticity on the floor.

- What makes you, YOU? What makes you stand out from your best friend, your mom, your sister or brother, even a stranger? This is not about putting you on a pedestal, but recognizing your strengths in your weaknesses, meaning your flaws.
- Focus on what you can control. In your flaws, you can still make improvements. So don't become an egomaniac. Look at your flaws and see where you can improve. Progress is the key to success.
- Flaws are not a stop sign. Just because you are not perfect or have everything you think you should have, keep going through detours and all. Your flaws highlight your authenticity and illuminate your passion.
Don't let your falls become the end of the road. You are on a journey of a lifetime.
