BYP 185: How To Craft A Killer Keynote Speech

There's an important distinction between keynotes in the personal brand space: Informational vs. Inspirational.

The two require different approaches. Since I’m mostly in the informational space, I prepare for my keynotes this sequence:

1. Determine the Call To Action

2. Write quotables and Tweetables

3. Gather stories for within the presentation, not without

4. Create sparse slides (clean, minimalistic)

5. Dress the way I want to be photographed
