3659 Dribbling Through Life's Challenges with Faith

Why does life have to be so complicated? Natural disasters, financial struggles, and health issues are just a few of the ups and downs. But regardless, dribbling through life's challenges with faith is the only way to get to the other side. 

And with faith, that's where your hope comes from. It's not what you can control or how you can change the situation. It truly is something bigger than you and me; it's God at the helm.

God created you on purpose for a purpose. Do you think He will let His plans fizzle and fall to the wayside?

Of course not! You literally mean the world to Him. God sent His only Son to die on the cross for your sins. Imagine for a moment what that would feel like to have to give up your only child to save the world.

I don't think most of us would have the heart to do what God did. But that's why God is God!!

John 3:16 ~ "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life."

Now, that doesn't mean that you will always get what you pray for or what you want in life. 

Romans 8:28 ~ "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."

God is in control. All the more reason to walk by faith, not by sight.

2 Corinthians 5:7 ~ "For we live by faith, not by sight."

How are you living your life? Are you working from a cup that is half empty, trying to figure out everything on your own?

Or are you genuinely leaning on God and His strength?

You will drive yourself into the ground if you don't always put your faith in God! Yes, you will have those moments where you yell at Him and give you a piece of your mind. You're human! God expects that. You need to be real with God, because that is what He desires most for you. He wants a relationship, not a transaction. 

So, how are you leaning on God? Are you willing to let Him take the ball and make the basket, even if that means it's not what you want?

I totally get it. You want the control because you think you can handle it...until you can't!

Let God be more than a 911 moment. Let God love you the way He knows best. Let Him play in the game of life with you. I promise you, God's got you!
