Ep. 17 How to Start a Company From a Dorm Room with Christian Cavaliere of Tremont Sporting Company
Have you ever wondered how some of the most successful people in the golf industry got to where they are? Have you ever seen a company and wondered how they got their start?
Today we get to spend time with Christian Cavaliere of Tremont Sporting Company. While playing golf at Boston College, he and his teammates began wanting a better hat than the ones the team had issued them. In pursuit of something better, Christian was successful in building an audience and customer loyalty. As things continued to progress after graduation, his creativity and growing audience led to the launch of his own company.
In our time together, Christian will share:
- How curiosity in wanting to know how things were built would eventually lead to him creating his own products.
- How to know when it is time to put your own money down and invest in your own ideas.
- What bootstrapping is and why it is one approach to building your own company from the ground up.
- How to scale your company within its first three years of existence.
- Advice for those who are considering starting their own company.
