#28 - Daniel Ball – Finding Fulfilment by Leading Others - The Early Careers Company

Sep 29, 2021
40:30

Daniel Ball is the CEO of The Early Careers Company and the Founder of The Early Careers Foundation.

Daniel launched an expansive start up organisation with social purpose in a matter of months. He scaled the business from 1 to 13 employees and has moved in to two offices with views of global expansion.

Daniel’s personality really shines through in this episode. As a young, hungry and excelling 25-year-old entrepreneur you would think Daniel’s motivation lies within his financial success, but you’d be wrong. For him, It’s knowing the risks that his employees have taken to buy into his vision for a better future and a more inclusive and contemporary careers market.

He provides his thoughts on:

- Joining a start-up as a teenager

- Happiness vs Joy

- Burnout culture

- Remote working and human connection

- Why no one ever regrets being kind

I really enjoyed having Daniel stop by and make time for the show in his manic diary. I love both his charity’s and foundation’s mission statement.

Thanks, Daniel, for your time!
