Ana Egge - who Lucinda Williams calls 'the folk music Nina Simone' - has released 13+ records, starting with her first in 1994, and including some produced by Steve Earle, is a luthier, and has toured with John Prine, Shawn Colvin, Jimmie Dale Gilmore, Ron Sexmith, Lucinda, and Iris Dement amongst others.
