Purpose of the Pathways Campaign
The Pathways campaign aims for every learner, regardless of location, to have a path to citizenship, economic mobility, and a purposeful life. This initiative focuses on intentional and equitable pathways connected to opportunities for high-wage employment and personal growth. The campaign emphasizes personalized, co-created, interest-based experiences that foster motivation, identity, purpose, and agency.
Evolution of Remake Learning
Remake Learning, originating from informal gatherings in 2007, has evolved into a movement promoting relevant learning for children. Supported initially by the Grable Foundation, it has expanded into Remake Learning Days, engaging various organizations and sponsors to host learning events across multiple regions in Pennsylvania and internationally. Partnerships with schools, parents, and caregivers create accessible learning experiences both in and out of traditional educational settings.
Community Engagement and Impact
The Remake Learning Days festivals, spanning from Pennsylvania to global locations, encourage community participation in varied learning experiences. Activities include creative performances, hands-on workshops, and interactive family events. Collaboration with schools and after-school programs enhances career readiness and fosters critical skills like problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration among students. Community partnerships, industry involvement, and family engagement drive the success of these innovative learning initiatives.
Remake Learning Days is one of the world's largest festival of hands-on learning where parents and caregivers learn alongside their kids. The festival began in 2016 in southwestern PA and has since taken root in other regions. In 2024, there will be 2,000+ events across 16 regions, including 3 international regions, between the dates April 20-May 31. The festival events are an opportunity for families to learn together, to encourage kids to be curious and to learn about community resources.
