Leaving SFR's for MFR's with Lane Kawaoka

Lane Kawaoka began his journey in REI the way so many do – by saving money to buy a primary residence. Today he has scaled his holdings to a total of 626 apartment units! His bread and butter are class B & C multifamily housing.

In this episode, Lane speaks to the pros and cons of single family home investing. He explains the headache that SF homes can turn out to be and the beauty of syndicating multifamily and the freedom it offers. He talks about committing to analyzing almost 600 deals in just a few years and proves to us with his own success that investing is really a numbers game! He emphasizes prioritizing what you need to do each day to move your business forward and using your time wisely to do that.
